Philip Richards

Philip works for Provide Community who have formed a Strategic Partnership with Ormiston Families. Provide is an ambitious, employee owned social enterprise, which has been growing in size and influence. In 2023/24, Provide recorded a turnover of £108m, working across Essex, but with other services in East Anglia, Dorset and the North of England. The business transforms lives by treating, caring for and educating people, delivering a broad range of health and social care services in the community and adhering to a commitment to making them safe, responsive and of high quality.

As a Community Interest Company, Provide strives to maximise the benefit it gives to the communities it serves, and since being established in 2011, the company has given more than £4m to communities through a mixture of charitable donations, grants to voluntary sector organisations, and enhancement of its own services to communities.

In his role as Group Chief Finance Officer, Philip oversees all of the financial aspects of the business, as well as managing the estates, IT and Business Intelligence parts of the company.
