We are delighted to be named as the new charity partner for the Whole Hog in 2025.
The Whole Hog is a muddy obstacle course that takes place at Wantisden Hall near Woodbridge in October and sees participants run, climb and crawl through 5 or 7 mile obstacle courses.
Thousands of pounds are raised for charity by more than 1,500 runners of all abilities each year, with next year’s event taking place on October 5.
Its organisers have now revealed that Ormiston Families will be its 2025 charity partner.
Ian Bliss, Whole Hog organiser, said: “We are delighted to have Ormiston Families on board as our charity partner for 2025.
“Ormiston Families have used the Suffolk Whole Hog over the last few years as an effective fundraising opportunity and also raising awareness of the fantastic work they do. We look forward to working with them during the next year.”
The partnership means that runners can get entry to the Whole Hog for just £10, with a commitment to raise £100 for Ormiston Families. Entry to the Boss Hog requires £150 in fundraising.
Gavin Lamb, fundraising manager for Ormiston Families, said the partnership was ‘amazing’ news.
“The Whole Hog is so much fun and we’ve had lots of people take part on our behalf over the years,” he said.
“But being a charity partner is another level and we’re so grateful to Ian and the team. We can’t wait to see everyone there in October and we’re looking forward to getting muddy!”
